बीकानेर, (समाचार सेवा)। ऐतिहासिक पूगल गढ़ आज इस हाल में, बीकानेर जिले की पूगल तहसील में बना पूगल का गढ़ एतिहासिक महत्‍व रखता है। पूगल को ढोला मारू की कहानियों, रानी पद्मावती की खूबसूरती तथा रुणिचा के बाबा रामदेव जी की बहन सुगना बाई के ससुराल के रूप में खासी पहचान मिली हुई है।

यह गढ़ आज किस हाल में हैं बता रहे हैं गढ़ के मालिकों में से एक और ग्राम पंचायत पूगल के सरपंच सिद्धार्थ सिंह भाटी।

भाटी ने महेन्‍द्र सिंह शेखावत से बातचीत में बताया कि गढ़ का रिनोवेशन का काम पिछले कई महीनों से चल रहा है और यह काम आगामी लगभग चार साल तक और चलने की संभावना है। पूगल राजस्थान के बीकानेर जिले की एक तहसील है। यह खाजूवाला विधानसभा क्षेत्र में आता है।

Bikaner, (Samachar Seva). The Grahof Poogal, built in Poogal tehsil of Bikaner district, holds historical importance. Poogal is well known for the tales of Dhola Maru, the beauty of Rani Padmavati and the in-laws of Sugna Bai, sister of Baba Ramdev Ji of Runicha.

Siddharth Singh Bhati, one of the owners of the fort and Sarpanch of Gram Panchayat Poogal, is telling in what condition this fort is today. Bhati told in a conversation with Mahendra Singh Shekhawat that the renovation work of the citadel is going on for the last several months and this work is likely to continue for another four years.

Poogal is a tehsil in Bikaner district of Rajasthan. It comes under Khajuwala assembly constituency.
